About Us
Italian goldsmithing, above all else.
Italian goldsmithing, above all else. Lagati Padel Jewels was born from the meeting of two stories: that of Angela and Valerio, lifelong artisans, and that of a sport that, many years later, would enter their world.
Angela discovered her vocation for jewelry at a very young age. At just 14, she chose to study art and precious metals and, even before finishing her studies, she began frequenting goldsmith workshops to learn the trade by observing and working. Valerio began just as young, training as a watchmaker and building deep technical experience over the years.
Two paths that meet, in life and in work, and which in 2006 gave life to Oreficeria Lagati. Since then, their language has been that of jewelry: precious metals, goldsmithing techniques, precision, research, and attention to detail. 18-karat gold, 925 sterling silver, and precious stones become material through artisanal skills and specialized workmanship, where every step contributes to the final quality of the piece.
Then came padel.
During the Covid years, Angela and Valerio took up the sport. From a small gold racket made for a special request, an idea was born: to bring the culture, technique, and preciousness of Italian jewelry into the world of padel.
This is how Lagati Padel Jewels was born.
The shapes of the court, the racket, and the ball are studied, reinterpreted, and transformed into design elements. Not merely sports symbols applied to an accessory, but true jewelry, designed to combine the identity of padel with the elegance and quality of Italian goldsmith craftsmanship. The first rackets, for example, were born from the study of the three real shapes - round, teardrop, and diamond - reproduced while respecting their proportions, lines, and structure.
Today, the Lagati universe encompasses different materials and interpretations: from 925 silver to 18-karat gold, and even creations embellished with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.
But the principle remains the same: transforming a sport into jewelry.
